Students will use the Learning Upgrade app to practice digital literacy skills. Students will already be familiar with the platform as it is regularly used for supplemental instruction. When students are ready, direct them to the Northstar Digital Literacy Assessment to conduct a formative assessment.
Closing: Students will use Badgr, a digital badging platform, to create an account "backpack" where they can store their Northstar badges once they pass. This is way to display evidence of content mastery and can also be shared to social media and with others via links.
